“I’d almost forgotten what snow is like,” Sansa observed, watching the light flakes begin to fall. The Hound stepped behind her to cloak her in the wolf-skin he had carried. A feathery flake fluttered onto Sansa’s nose and she laughed. Sandor smiled slightly, just a twitch of his unburnt lip. That must have been the first real laugh he’d heard Sansa make since they’d left King’s Landing.

This is for my friend *Lady—Lux who ships SanSan insanely.

Cordel literature (“Literatura de Cordel” in portuguese, means “string literature”) are popular and inexpensively printed booklets common in the Northeast of Brazil. They usually contain stuff like folk novels, poems and songs, and they sell it at fairs and in the street. Cordel uses in its cover a very specific and traditional kind of xylography, and I thought the aesthetic fitted Sandor/Sansa (as well as other characters in A Song of Ice and Fire).

Sansa Stark, in her eventual HBIC phase. If you look very closely there’s a tiny spoiler for my favorite plot arc that never happened. Her future would’ve been perfect, if only.

“What a lovely home you have! - Gendry, stop staring.”
“I can’t. O_O”
Yet another quick sketch fan art.
Since it seems a lot of people who ship Sansa/Sandor also ships Arya/Gendry I asked myself what their family dinners would look like, and this was my first impression.
I don’t know why, but for some reason I don’t think Sandor would be too keen on Gendry at first.

Into the Godswood.
My final (ish) piece, with a younger Sansa and Arya in the Godswood with their father Ned.
At the end of book 1/episode 9 I was absolutely distraught watching Sansa plead and scream for her father’s life while Arya was trying to save him. It might be partly to do with my complete and utter love for Sean Bean!
I guess it strikes close to home, as I have a little sister and I love my dad to bits… Can’t imagine seeing something that horrific. =[
Anyway, about the art: Over 30 layers in Paint Tool Sai. I started this a few months ago - really struggled with the whole composition and colours - left it - and have only just revamped and finished it. I would like to add more, but I think I’ll leave it for now!

I’m reading A Feast for Crows now. After that quote I just can’t stop thinking about it in a certain Pink and Brain way.
