Alayne Stone at the Eyrie, by P J Lynch

Petyr studied her eyes, as if seeing them for the first time. “You have your mother’s eyes. Honest eyes, and innocent. Blue as a sunlit sea. When you are a little older, many a man will drown in those eyes.”
#ooc have been discussing w/ friends how our mental images of the characters differed from the GoT cast before the show existed. i think sansa, loras, melisandre & shae are the most different for me, personally. i see a lot of posts about sandor clegane in particular, but for me, its still funny for me to see sophie turner as sansa. i love her, i think she’s done a wonderful job & she’s lovely. however, all my years of reading the books i’ve pictured her to be a lot softer and have less angular features. if i had to give an example, i’d say a younger christina hendricks would hit closest to my mental image of sansa. though, when i first read the series, i had no idea who christina was. funny how your mind works, as this is still how i picture her when reading or thinking of her. ~Alayne
